On Saturday 2nd October, 2010, members and friends of Ashfield U3A were entertained by the group 'The Stormbeats in an evening of dancing to the music of the sixties. The venue for this event was the Rainworth Village Hall and a bar was provided. Members took along their own buffet.

One of our own members, Geoff Tootell, plays in the band (second from the left) which has been formed for over 40 years.
